• The hard working Friends of Oare Gunpowder Works carry out regular volunteer tasks to conserve the wildlife habitats, boardwalks and generally maintain the site. New volunteers are always welcome …
• There are also seasonal family outdoor learning & fun events throughout the year, including mini-beast hunts, craft activities and gunpowder inspired art workshops!  See the calendar below for events coming up.  
• Schools can also book special educational sessions, either with or without assistance.  The Visitor Centre doubles as a superb centre for learning.
