Facilities and Site Resources

Oare Gunpowder Works Country Park is a wonderfully diverse venue for learning.  With a well-equipped visitor centre and classroom, the site is easy to use with well-made paths leading to a range of important wildlife habitats in a relatively small area.  There are many educational opportunities at Oare Gunpowder Works.

At key points throughout the site there are interpretation panels helping to interpret the site.  Reflecting the unique blend of wildlife and history the boards include old photographs of buildings and comments about the wildlife present in the area.
